Councilmember Ondara Culture, Rosa Ana Martí, presented this morning the cultural program prepared by his department for the month of March. Again, a professional theater work will culminate this month's acts, among which we also find a solidarity concert, music, exhibition, children's theater and storytelling.
In the musical section, the Municipal Auditorium this March will host two concerts. On Saturday 13 March at 20:30 hours, the Unió Musical d'Ondara offer a concert of classical music, with free admission. And on Sunday the 14th will be a solidarity concert whose proceeds will benefit earthquake victims in Haiti. The Quintet "Zinc Metalls" along with "Grup Instrumental de Gata de Gorgos" will offer this performance characterized by solidarity on Sunday 14 March at 19 hours. The donation will be 5 euros, and the collection will be aimed at Fontilles Foundation project in Haiti, as explained by the representative of the quintet, Lluis Sodevila. The concert will have two parts, the first with the performance of the Quintet "Zinc Metalls" recently formed group with musicians from the region, which provide a popular repertoire. Then the "Grup Instrumental de Gata de Gorgos" will offer a special performance with multimedia elements mixed with music.
For younger children, this month has scheduled two sessions of children's theater, on Tuesday 30 March, Pluja Theater presents "Peter Pan Garcia at 9:30 pm in the Municipal Auditorium, and on Wednesday the 31st," TDJ Productions "presents his work" Tragasueños "also at 9:30 pm in the Auditorium. Also aimed at children, this month the campaign develops Storytelling Municipal Library, every Wednesday at 18 hours. Another of the cultural proposals this month is the presentation of the book entitled "The path dels Thieves" by its author Manel Martinez Arcos, and the Cultural Councilor of Ana Rosa Martí, on Thursday 11 March at 20 hours in House of Culture.
Moreover, this March will be held the Fourth Conference on Reading Encouragement of 6 to 11 March, organized by the Department of Culture, the extension CEFIRE Benidorm Bromera Ondara and Fundació per the Promotion of Reading. The workshops are aimed at parents and teachers.
