ONDARA'S ITV STATION INAGURATED

The new ITV station represents an investment of 3,000,000 euros and employs about 30 people from the region

This morning was officially opened the new ITV Ondara, located at the roundabout for access to sports, to Pamisos and inland villages in the district. From tomorrow, the new installation of the Vehicle Inspection is now operational and will serve the entire Marina Alta. It will not work tomorrow and installing temporary ITV, which has been operational for 11 years at the entrance of Denia.

In the opening ceremony this morning participated Regional Secretary for Industry, Trade and Innovation, Bruno Broseta Dupre, Director General of SEPIVA (responsible for ITV's), Inmaculada García, Mayor Ondara, Ximo Ferrando, and Manuel Trigo, Director General of Atecs (the concessionaire of the Department of Industry to provide the service of the roadworthiness of vehicles throughout the region of the Marina Alta). The appointment has been no shortage of city council members and mayors and councilors in several villages in the region, including the Mayor of El Verger, Miguel Gonzalez Poblets Els, Jaume Ivars; of Pedreguer, Andrés Ferrer ; of Poble Nou de Benitatxell, Josefa Round; or Gata de Gorgos, Ana Maria Soler.

The new ITV in the Marina Alta has meant an investment of 3,000,000 euros, has a total of 4 lines (which are currently operating 3), and is the most modern and technologically advanced of all the national territory, according to confirmed by the Director of Atecs, Manuel Trigo. Also, will the medium term, creating between 25 and 30 direct jobs for people from the Marina Alta.

With the launch of ITV in Ondara was the culmination of a long process begun three years ago, when Mayor Ondara, Ximo Ferrando, negotiated the move of the ITV Denia (where carried in a temporary station since 1998) to Ondara , to the land located at the entrance to the road Pamisos. Ondara City Council aproved unanimously backed by all political forces, the agreement signed with Atecs is placed in this area of ITV.

The opening of the ITV this morning included a visit to all facilities and a real demonstration of a technical inspection to a vehicle, so that all present could see in situ operation of the station.

After the demonstration, the Mayor of Ondara, Ximo Ferrando, stressed in his speech the work done by all administrations to ensure that "these great facilities and access a reality," a work that has gone into "the cooperation of the Consellerías Industry and Infrastructure, Provincial Council of Alicante, the Ministry of Works and the City Council Ondara "all" working toward the final station ITV that we needed in the Marina Alta "according to Ferrando. For its part, the Regional Secretary for Industry, Trade and Innovation, Bruno Broseta Dupre, said "the commitment of the Generalitat Valenciana with concessionaires to provide better service for citizens." It Broseta explained that the investment was 3,000,000 euros including access. In addition, the Regional Secretary of Industry has expressed a commitment to the concessionaire to invest "in Ondara, in the Marina Alta, in infrastructure that benefit everyone and create economic impact.

Within the investment of 3,000,000 euros, including the new roundabout, launched last November, which gives access to the ITV, Ondara Polisportive by the hamlet of Pamisos, and localities of Inside the Marina Alta, and the creation of a new pedestrian access, which comes from Ondara to Pamisos and Sports Center. The budget of both actions was EUR 446,335.62, paid in full by Atecs.
