MIRIAM CABRERA AND ALBERT SESTAYO CONCERT

Last Saturday the proceedings were taken up in the cycle "Gaudim of Music at the Casa de Cultura", a course organized by the Culture Department of the City of Ondara, dedicated to empowering young musicians. On this occasion, the audience filled the Arts Center to enjoy the piano and clarinet by Albert Cabrera Ferreres (clarinet and bass) and Miriam Sestayo Fenella (piano and composition).

The duo Albert and Miriam Cabrera Ferreres Sestayo Fenella came in 2007 with the aim of investigating especially in the repertoire of French composers of the early twentieth century and influenced musicians, creating a stable working group. These two versatile young performers playing instruments of strings, brass and keyboard, besides interpreting his own compositions.

The repertoire performed at the House of Culture Ondara Lament and included parts of Gabriel Grovlez tarantella, Sonata 3rd Miriam moviment Sestayo, Homage to Debussy by Béla Kovács, Andante and scherzo of Paul Pierné, Toccata and Fugue in SIBMAS JS. Rhapsody Miluccio Bach, among others.
