The Alicante Provincial Council has awarded a grant to the Economic Development area of the City of Ondara worth 9,000 euros, to cover various initiatives relating to trade and economic promotion of the town, made over the last quarter of 2009.

Among the activities that will benefit from this provincial grant are the actions taken by the Economic Promotion Ondara late last year, including the installation of low energy Christmas lights to encourage Christmas shopping in the population, XXIV Fira the display or the Medieval Market, among other activities.

Following the granting of this new grant from the Provincial Council for the municipality of Ondara, Councilor of Economic Promotion, Rosa Ana Marti, has expressed his satisfaction with "the good reception of the Provincial Council of Alicante in supporting initiatives and projects raised by the Government of Ondara team. Ana Rosa Marti stressed that "achieving this kind of contribution to our town, shows the work being done by the Government Team to achieve supra-aid to help improve the quality of life of neighbors."
