Yesterday took place the popular feast of San Antonio, which has already become a tradition for lovers of animals Ondara. Every year, hundreds are people who congregate in the Prado, because their animals and pets Siguen blessed. Dogs, cats, birds, hamsters, horses, ponies, donkeys, calves, turtles, fish and even goats were the protagonists of a day that began with a parade through the center of Ondara, which followed the popular blessing Animal Center in El Prado by the local priest, Don Felipe.

On this occasion, the ceremony of the Blessing of Animals in San Antonio was organized by the Association for Cavallo Ondara road and, with the co-operation of City Council and the parish of Santa Anna.

Hundreds of people draw their animals home and walked through the village, to then go marching in front of the Prado to receive the blessing of the local priest. Based on data from the Association of Road and Cavallo Ondara attended 40 horses and 300 animals of other species.

It is a tradition deeply rooted in Ondara, in which more people participate each year. Afterwards, many participants held a luncheon in Fellowship Plaza de Toros. Others went to the houses and mountains, as usual on this date.
