As Mayor of Ondara I give the welcome to all those who visit this web page. Across these lines I want to do a brief introduction of that Ondara offers for those persons who still have not had the opportunity to approach this land.

Ondara, is placed in the region of the High Sea-coast, its municipal area has an extension of 10,4 km2 and is to a height of 35 meters to bundle of the level of the sea, to the north of the province of Alicante, to a distance of 91 km from Alicante and 91 km from València. In addition it is in 4 km from the coast.

With a practically flat territory, with the exception of the sector northwest of the term that is occupied by the Saw of Segària, Ondara enjoys a typically Mediterranean climate, with soft winters and warm summers, the medium annual temperature is 18 º.

Our more important holidays are, undoubtedly, the Saint Jaume, the Virgin of the Soledad and Santissim Christ all during June and July the months most visited by thousands of persons to our village that actually  comes already 7.000 inhabitants.

The urban hull d'Ondara concentrates an important historical patrimony, in addition, a great number of services, so much commercial, as hobbies, culture, sports...

With these premises, I can only invite those persons who have visited this page what they us encourage and avenge to know because the hospitality is different of the characteristics of our people.
